Frank's Steak & Schnitzel Haus

Travelled through your town & stopped here for dinner on June 17 for dinner. I ordered regular cut prime rib & it was so dried out,& tough that I couldn't chew it, & the waitress took it....I waited 15 minutes for her to return and tell me that there was nothing she could do about it...............So I paid and left, very displeased with the restaurant. Will not visit again

food ok waiting time sucks they cater to regulars but if your not be prepared to wait forever

not very impressed. i do like to have some space when i eat and i find the tables are to close to eachother and almost clostraphobic. i dont mind waiting for good food when you except to go to a high end resturant, but its almost to long. and when people who show up after you are getting there meals before you its quite aggrivating. why do you pay so much for too long of waits and terrible service? i do not reccomend this place at all.

Truck Stop service during lunch! For the quality of food and atmosphere the lunch time service is trashy at best. I have eaten at Franks for business lunches a few times but enough is enough. The server I have had has been boorish, rude, unprofessional and down right low class. With comments like what do you want Hun. She seemed to walk around like a bull in a china shop, barking orders at other staff and her choice language was unbelievable. Frank's can do alot better.

This is the BEST place I have ever ate at.The hospitality was totally amazing.
We will recommend this place to everyone we know.This is going to be a place that we visit often.The drive (5hrs) WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Truly a TEN+.

The Food at Frank's is delicious....well staffed, clean and excellent variety on there menu..I have to say this is one of the most enjoyable meals I have ever had...and I travel all across Canada.You can tell everything is made from scratch and fresh. I am glad I found you..THANK-YOU..

My Boyfriend and I have been to Frank's on severl occasions and it is by far our most favorite place to go. Yes there has been different waiting times than others but what do you expect for fresh home cooked meals? And remember folks dont count the minutes as soon as you walk in the door. The server has to get the order to the kitchen first. Speaking of that, Franks your service is wonderful. You really are a great place to go and relax. I always feel welcome as soon as I enter the door. You definately make time fly with the delicious buns and salads that come with the meals. The food is always hot and it tastes great everytime. I would also like to say that their weekend buffets are probably the best that we've ever seen in cranbrook. And for all the comments on slow service and long waits, Id like to see you try and cook for over 200 people in one night, 7 days a week. Id also like to see you serve them, remembering to bring them buns and salads and drinks. Franks is a busy place so remember they cater to everyone not just you! I SALUTE YOU FRANKS STEAK AND SCHNITZEL HAUS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Can someone serve something else other that schinitzel in Cranbrook?? As posted before this place has huge portions, it is good homestyle cooking but not fine dining. If you are hungry eat here, but be prepared to wait, the service is very slow and the prices high.

Same old steak & schnitzel place it always was, BUT huge portions! Good for the big eater, although has gotten more expensive recently. Service is...not the best. Inexperienced and slow, but friendly.

A most wonderful anniversary...we will not forget...Frank's Steak is the best restaurant in British Columbia. The owner's were wonderful and the food was very fresh. Our 2 week Vacation ended with a wonderful twist at Frank's ..congratulations on a job well done.This is a fine dining establishment clean and friendly. if you are looking for fast food go to Mc donald's..We will be back!!

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. 3 of us were sitting there for over an hour and when we finally got up to leave because we still hadn't received our meals, the owner actually told us we were wrong and that were only sitting there for 45 minutes and then charged us for the bread sticks. When we told her that we in fact looked at the clock when we got in, and then again when were leaving, she insisted we were there for only 45 minutes when it was clearly over an hour. If she hadn't argued with us, I wouldn't have been so angry. In the owners mind, the guest is there for her convenience and she is right, you are wrong. 20 minutes for drinks, 30 minutes for appy, over an hour for dinner is not worth it.

DEFINATLEY A STAR FIRST CLASS...SERVICE...FRESH FOOD...WOW..AMAZING

Good food, but the same old schnitzel and prime rib that so many other restaurants have in Cranbrook. Have been there a few times and the younger waitresses are not very good.
